Daniel Dennett's brain gets removed!! Part 1 I have selected a section of clips from an old docudrama featuring Daniel Dennett and Douglas Hofstadter. I have only uploaded that portion with Dennett in it, for all the Dennett fans on YouTube. I am pretty sure Dennett did not allow neurosurgeons to remove his brain and connect it to his body by radio transmitters. It was just a good thought experiment. But if I ever get to ask him, this is the first thing I would like to clarify. James is played by Rob Whitelock, Pete by Euan Wilson and the tragic character of Jo is played by Amy Whitehouse. The hugely atmospheric music was written by Michael Mertens and the video was produced and post-produced by Partizan London. Actresses Katie Holmes and Dianne West helped re-enact the experiences of Staff Sergeant Jose Pequeno a soldier from New Hampshire. The former Sugar Hill Police Chief suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2006. His mother Nellie and sister Elizabeth were in the audience with Jose on Sunday, and their sacrifices were also recognized. At a private reception following the conter, New Hampshire Supreme Court Chief Justice John Broderick presented Sgt. Pequeno with a commendation signed by Governor Lynch and top lawmakers praising his service and his sacrifice.
