KaBar Dozier Large Folding Hunter The KaBar Dozier is a great knife, especially for the price, at $20-35!!! Great all around knife, designed by custom knife maker Bob Dozier, its light weight and made by a great company with a long history: KaBar. Blade has a great drop point, very suitable for many locations that have restrictions on tip design. The handle features great checkering molded into the Zytel Handle, for terrific slip resistance and traction. Makes a great all around EDC or utility blade, and for the price, you dont really have to worry about using it to hard or rough, if you loose it or something happens, you can buy another one! The Lock release for the lockback is far enough from the pivot point to make it easy to release, while still comfortable, but it may take a little bit to get used to. Solid lock up, with zero blade play in any direction, and no lock fails in my tests. Overall a great knife for anyone, especially those on a budget! Specs: Model Number 4070 Weight: 4 oz Lock Style: Lockback Blade length: 3 5/8" Closed Length: 4 7/8" Overall length: 8 1/2" Blade Thickness: 4 mm Grind: Hollow (says KaBar) but I dont care what they say, its a flat ground blade, there is no hollowing out at all, it is perfectly flat. Shape: Drop Point Handle Material: Zytel Stamp: KA-BAR HRC: 56-58 CR Edge Angle: 15 Degrees Steel: AUS 8A Pocket Clip: Left/Right reversible, Tip up only carry Made in Taiwan Released in 2007

KaBar Dozier Folding knives: "Value Defined" by Nutnfancy The little Zytel-handled EDC knives offer incredible value for their sub $20 price: AUS-8 steel, sharp hollow ground blades, fast deployment, tight lockup, reversible pocket clip and thumbstud, and a super lightweight 2.4 oz. Several blades designs are offered including the shown Folding Hunter (clip style), Folding Skinner, and the Spear Point Hunter. Newer variations have serrations. Few other knives compare at the pricepoint and the Bob Dozier designed folders set a great standard of value for a utility/EDC blade. //////////////////Nutnfancy Likeability Scale: 8 out of 10 (price considered)

Ka-Bar Dozier clip knife review My review of the KA-BAR Dozier clip point folding knife. An excellent value mid sized candidate for EDC or utility tasks, this sturdy KA-BAR uses AUS-8A steel and zytel handles. Hair shaving sharp out of the box, and a really solid lock-up make this a really good addition to anyone's collection and is suited very well for utility work, and will take a lot of abuse while maintaining a decent edge. AUS-8A steel is also fairly easy to sharpen. I got mine for £23.95 at And for the high value of this knife, I would definitely recommend this knife to anyone who gets moderate use from their utility knife and who want high performance for low cost. It may not be pretty, but it gets the job done

KaBar Dozier Pocket Knife Review This is a short review of my KaBar Dozier pocket knife that is my EDC (every day carry) knife. It's a lightweight knife weighing in at 2.25oz, which is very low for a 3 inch blade. It has a Zytel handle that has diamond checkering on it for added grip. You can reverse the pocket clip and thumb stud if you're left handed. Just an all around awesome knife for the money, its quality is amazing for the price you pay. Thanks for watching, please rate and comment.

Dozier Folding Knife D2 Video Review Dozier folder - dream come true. Year ago I found during manila rope cutting test, best steel used for knives - heat treated by Bob Dozier D2. And from that time was waiting for folder which will be just right for me. Mostly priced in my range. In a year I finally got one and till then it is on top of my knives collection. This is not scary tactical monster - just good old working horse, but perfect one. It is not only excellent edge holding, but as well comfortable ergonomic, and well done fit and finish. Liners and spacer are titanium, scales - micarta. Blade is D2 heat treated by Dozier (this is critical part - no one else can do the same) - 3 1/2" long. Everything else you may see on video.

Ka-Bar Dozier 4062 Folding Hunter Knife Review I love this knife. When it comes to getting the most value for your money this is the knife to beat. The Ka-Bar Dozier combines ergonomic design and excellent construction into a package that can be had for less than $20. When I first got this knife in the mail I was so impressed that I started using it for my everyday carry. The fit and finish is excellent. After having used this blade for the past week I would definitely stack it up against more expensive knives from other manufacturers like the Spyderco Byrd Line and Benchmades Red Class Knives. Aside from a few nitpicks (detailed below) I highly recommend this blade to anyone looking for a high-use, quality knife on a budget. Features: • Weight: 2.3 ounces (65.2g) • Length Open: 7.25 (18.42 cm) • Length Closed: 4.25 (10.8 cm) • Blade Length: 3 (7.62 cm AND California Legal!!!) • Blade Material: Aus8A Stainless Steel • HRC: 56-58 • Edge Angle: 15 Degrees • Locking Mechanism: Lockback • Grind: Hollow • Pocket Clip: yes, reversible, tip-up only • Handle Material: Black Zytel (Also available in forest green, desert tan, and pink) • Made in Taiwan • Style: Hunter (Also available in Clip-Point, Skinner, Spear-Point, and Thumb-Hole models) • Retail: $30 (available for $18.50 on ) Things I would change: • Since the pocket clip screws from the reverse side, have the clip come the top and bend over the screw point so that the knife can ride deeper in the pocket. • Off-set or remove the lanyard hole to allow the pocket ...

Authors@Google: Kimberly Dozier The Authors@Google program was pleased to welcome CBS News correspondent Kimberly Dozier to Google's NY office to discuss her book, "Breathing the Fire". Kimberly Dozier is a veteran journalist of print, radio and television news; on the local, national, and international level. She pursues stories that are important, not just those that are popular. She has been featured in numerous media outlets including CBS Primetime, People and Glamour magazines. Dozier has consistently immersed herself in the deepest of world events, choosing to live in the Middle East long before the region's current unrest. Dozier chose to live there, anticipating the region's important role in the unfolding of world events. Working for CBS News, Dozier was put on the streets of Baghdad with a military patrol. It was on this mission that Dozier suffered life-threatening injuries from a bomb, lost much of her crew, and began to trace the roots of her inner strength and assess her world. In Breathing the Fire Dozier offers a personal memoir of tenacity as well as dedication and drama. Through her often painful and inspiring account, readers learn what wounded military personnel-along with their families and friends-endure on the long road to recovery. Dozier also recounts her rise to network broadcasting, shares insights into the culture of war-zone reporting, and describes the unique demands and perils of women covering dangerous events. This event took place on May 23, 2008.
Kimberly Dozier Returns to CBS CBS Correspondent Kimberly Dozier visited CBS on Monday. Dozier spent months in rehab after being wounded in Iraq. Her colleagues, Paul Douglas and James Brolan, lost their lives in the same attack.
