My name is Dorie, and I'm a quiet, but very loving senior citizen. I'm a Seal Point Siamese cat with quite lovely coloring. Although many Siamese are known for being talkative, thus far the folks at FOHA would have to say I'm pretty quiet. It's also likely I've had a difficult life. They can certainly say that it's been quite a while since I've visited a vet prior to finding my way to FOHA's doors. I recently underwent dental surgery to have most of my teeth removed. My choppers were in pretty bad shape. In fact, the vet said that on a scale of 1 to 4, with 1 being the best and 4 being the worst, my teeth were a 6! Eeks! So Im feeling much better now to have all those icky toofers gone. Plus I get plenty of yummy, tuna-flavored canned food from the staff and volunteers at FOHA rather than that dry old kibble all the time there are some advantages to age, Id have to say. As an older lass, Im looking to find a quiet, stable home. Sure, those youngins enjoy all the playmates and activity of communal living at the FOHA cattery, but we older ladies need more rest and peace. Would you consider taking me home with you where I can spend my golden years in peace, relaxing knowing that I'm getting the loving care I need. I prefer a nice sunny spot which shows off my beautiful grey tipped furr just beautifully and I'll be happy to gaze lovingly at you ...
