As you can see in the video I have installed an el cheapo RCA HD indoor antenna on the side of the HH-90 motor. I can move the HD antenna enough to receive 8 channels that are within 50km of me in Southwestern British Columbia. For those of you interested in doing something similar your receiver must have a built in ATSC/QUAM digital tuner.   • Coolsat 8000HD Over The Air reception Lower Mainland British Columbia This is my Coolsat 8000HD scanning and receiving over the air digital channels in HD and in SD mode. I can receive 6 digital channels so far. I am going to work on finding a better location for my tripod which has the HD antenna on it. The antenna is actually an indoor RCA flat antenna picked it up at the Source in Vancouver. I was able to pick up 8 channels in digital mode with a pair of rabbit ears so i think all it will take is a little experimenting. All signals are over 80% in strength and quality. Using a commercial grade diplexer, one side going to FTA dish and motor the other side going to RCA OTA antenna.
