Covenants & Catastrophes, Part 2 When Covenants are broken, Catastrophes result. Neal Chase ben Joseph Aghsan, the great-grandson of 'Abdu'l-Baha and current guardian of the Baha'i Faith, speaks about the importance of covenants and the resulting self-imposed catastrophes which result when those covenants are broken. Particular emphasis is placed on the Everlasting Covenant spoken of all throughout the Bible, which is fulfilled and continued in the Baha'i Faith, and the extreme consequence of oncoming thermonuclear war as a result of the rejection of the Covenant of Peace, the Return of Christ and the Kingdom of God on earth.

God's covenant with the House of Israel for the salvation of mankind , Elder Ron Perkins The Church of Jesus Christ, Zion's Branch, Independence, Missouri. Short message, scripturally based, explaining the covenant God made for mankind's salvation with the House of Israel, through Abraham. Focus Points * God has a plan for salvation of mankind through His word. * Many people are sincere, but that does not make them right. * God will fulfill His covenant with His chosen people, the House of Israel. * There were 12 tribes in the House of Israel. * Jesus was sent to the lost tribes of the House of Israel. * The whole House of Israel will be gathered. * Gentile means: heathen, non-believer, strangers to the covenant. * The covenant with Abraham is the key to hope. * What would you do to save your physical life? * Where do you want to live your spiritual life forever? * Do you know where you are from? * You must know and do what is right, not just what looks right. Scriptural References: John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth; thy word is truth. Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man; but the end thereof are the ways of death. Exodus 1:1-7 1 Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man according to his household who came with Jacob. 2 Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, 3 Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin, 4 Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher. 5 And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls; for Joseph was in Egypt already. 6 And Joseph died, and all his ...

Mormon Deception - Doctrine & Covenants 101:4 Lie. How early LDS leaders deceived their own church members, investigators and the public alike. See LDS Apostle John Taylors Pamphlet quoting the D&C 101:4 lie here : Pages 8-9 (Polygamy denial) In D&C section 101:4 it was stated: "Inasmuch as this church of Christ has been reproached with the crime of fornication, and polygamy: we declare that we believe, that one man should have one wife; and one woman, but one husband, except in the case of death, when either is at liberty to marry again." This section was printed in every edition of the Doctrine and Covenants until the year 1876 and quoted by The Lying deceiving polygamist leaders. Google Books has a copy of the 1852 Doctrine and Covenants which has the deceptive canonised scripture. In there, this "passage" is re-numbered as section 104(but still on verse 4). It's on page 331 in this D&C or go to the pdf version on page 366. It's a breathtaking display of utter contempt, deception and total disrespect for the public, fellow ordinary church members and especially potential converts and unsuspecting females. The early LDS church lied about polygamy. Joseph Smith started practicing polygamy secretly, first with ***age house maid Fanny Alger and later with many young house maids including sister combinations and also 14 year old Helen Mar Kimball. He married 11 already married women as well. He proposed marriage to Orson Pratt's wife Sarah while her husband was away on a mission. She ...

Re:Two Different Covenants If you take the Jewish Computer and put in new RAM and a New Hard Drive then it is no longer a Jewish computer. The laptop was given by the creator and told all the people that it was the only computer they would ever need. There are creative new ways to use that computer and that is applied to modern times but it still has the same HD. The Hard Drive is the law. The theology is the Operating system. In the Christian computer the Hard Drive is the Gospel, and the theologies are the operating system. The Computer OF Jesus is different then the computer about Jesus :0) One is MAC the other PC. Some try to pass off the MAC as a PC, but with a simulated desktop and virtual windows. That's what I have issues with. LOL
10 Minute Topics: Biblical Covenants The next in a weekly series of 10 minute topics teaching about various topics within Judaism. This week's topic is: Biblical Covenants. A biblical covenant, brit/bris (ברית), is an agreement made between Hashem and humans. Hashem makes certain promises while requiring certain behaviors from humans in return. There are five Biblical covenants in the Tanach (Hebrew Scriptures). 1. Noachide Covenant (Genesis 9:8-17) 2. Avrahamic Covenant (Genesis 15:7-21; 17:10) 3. Sinatic Covenant (Exodus 19-24) 4. Priestly Covenant (Numbers 25:12-13) 5. Kingly Covenant (II Samuel 23:5) Source: The Complete Jewish Bible (

Mormon Definition: Baptismal Covenant We enter into covenants by priesthood ordinances, sacred rituals that God has ordained for us to manifest our commitment. Our foundational covenant, for example, the one in which we first pledge our willingness to take upon us the name of Christ, is confirmed by the ordinance of baptism. It is done individually, by name. By this ordinance, we become part of the covenant people of the Lord and heirs of the celestial kingdom of God.

Paul Godfrey - Two Covenants - Explaining Law and Grace One of the greatest dillusions to enter Christianing is the concept that we don't have to follow the law anymore. Jim Staley/GCA (The "Old" Covenants - Part 1) What if the citizens of the United States were somehow deceived to believe that the Constitution is no longer relevant in today's society and needed to be abolished? That somehow the tried and true principles, laws and ordinances once put in place for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness now had no place in our high paced, secular- progressive society. The answer is simple. Every man would begin to determine what was right in their own eyes and the people in the highest places would create new laws that would ultimately bring death, *** and injustice for all. In the same way, the enemy knows that in order to destroy God's people, all that he needs to do is to destroy the founding Constitution of GodHis Law. If he could convince the people that His Law, ordinances and commandments that He intended for Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness were no longer relevant for today, that the people would fall into *** by creating their own laws. The enemy has crafted and executed his plan perfectly as he has convinced mankind that the Law of God is no longer relevant for today. He has even convinced us that it was God's idea to get rid of it! Has the Law of God really been abolished? Has it really been nailed to the cross as we have been told? Have the instructions for life and the definition of sin been truly done away with? Or, was the power of sin and the curse that was placed on us because we broke it what was nailed to the cross so that we could be free from ...
The Mosaic Covenant Scofield Note The Mosaic Covenant, (1) given to Israel (2) in three divisions, each essential to the others, and together forming the Mosaic Covenant, viz.: the Commandments, expressing the righteous will of God Ex 20 the "judgments," governing the social life of Israel Ex 21:1-24:11 and the "ordinances," governing the religious life of Israel Ex 24:12-31:18. These three elements form "the law," as that phrase is generically used in the New Testament (eg) Mt 5:17-18. The Commandments and the ordinances formed one religious system. The Commandments were a "ministry of condemnation" and of "death" 2Co 3:7-9 the ordinances gave, in the high priest, a representative of the people with Jehovah; and in the sacrifices a "cover" (see "Atonement," Cmt. on Le 16:6 for their sins in anticipation of the Cross Heb 5:1-3; 9:6-9; Ro 3:25-26.

Zion and The Davidic Covenant INTRO: King David puts King Leoniddas to shame, makes Shakespeare's writing seem like chicken scratch, plays a stringed instrument like Jimi Hendrix on his best day, and had woman swooning over him that would make Don Juan green with envy.. This man expressed His Love and Faith in God (Father, Son & Holy Spirit) more than anyone in the entire scripture!! Born and raised a poor shepherd boy, King David became one of the greatest men ever born!! Romantic, attractive, charitable, charming, selfless, full of love, God-fearing, and a mighty warrior with all the power of God behind him, David defended Israel from the ungodly Philistines (Modern day Palestines in Gaza), who throughout the Old Testament terrorize Israel for no good reason. King David set up the first Jewish Kingdom in Israel and through the covenant God made with him, we have Christ, everlasting heir to the throne, final royal seed... Besides Christ, we know that Abraham and King David are two of God's most beloved of all time. Both of which God made covenants with. David is one of the most colorful men in history and a shadow of the return of Christ, The Lion of Judah!! I wish this video could be longer but I fit in what I could in the time alocated. God uses both Mary and Joseph's lineage to fulfill the covenant... Any boy, ***ager, or man who knew the story of King David would aspire to be him... Dedicated to Zion! God Bless Jerusalem and the Jews!! David's heart belonged to God, which is all God really ever ...
The Abrahamic Covenant This is a video on the Abrahamic Covenant,an unconditional covenant God makes with Abraham to bless him and bring the 'seed' (the Lord Jesus Christ) into the world through his line. 1917 Scofield Reference Bible Notes Genesis 15:18 3 covenant The Abrahamic Covenant as formed Ge 12:1-4 and confirmed Ge 13:14-17; 15:1-7; 17:1-8 is in seven distinct parts: (1) "I will make of thee a great nation." Fulfilled in a threefold way: (a) In a natural posterity--"as the dust of the earth Ge 13:16; Joh 8:37, viz. the Hebrew people. (b) In a spiritual posterity--"look now toward heaven . . . so shall thy seed be" Joh 8:39; Ro 4:16; 9:7-8; Ga 3:6-7,29 viz. all men of faith, whether Jew or Gentile. (c) fulfilled also through Ishmael Ge 17:18-20 (2) "I will bless thee." Fulfilled in two ways: (a) temporally Ge 13:14-15; 15:18; 24:34-35 (b) spiritually Ge 15:6; Joh 8:56 (3) "And make thy name great." Abraham's is one of the universal names. (4) "And thou shalt be a blessing" Ga 3:13-14 (5) "I will bless them that bless thee." In fulfilment closely related to the next clause. (6) "And curse him that curseth thee." Wonderfully fulfilled in the history of the dispersion. It has invariably fared ill with the people who have persecuted the Jew--well with those who have protected him. The future will still more remarkably prove this principle De 30:7; Isa 14:1; Joe 3:1-8; Mic 5:7-9; Hag 2:22; Zec 14:1-3; Mt 25:40,45. (7) "In thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed."
