How To: Logic Pro - Loading multiple samples in EXS24 Sampler (Work-around for Logic Pro 9.0.1) Hey YouTube, recently with the Logic Pro 9.0.1 update people are having problem with importing samples into the EXS24 sampler: The problem is this: When you go to the edit mode in the EXS24 sampler and try to load multiple samples under zone it will loads the samples over the entire piano roll in contiguous zone selection as opposed to each individual key. It works fine in logic 8 but doesn't in 9. Basically everything worked perfectly in Logic 9 and Logic 8, but since the Logic Pro 9.0.1 update it stopped working. Now I found a fix online from Dezzy and here is his fix: Dezzy Workarround: 1. open the EXS24 via " edit " to create a new empty Instrument 2. go to the desired Folder ( outside logic ) and select all the samples 3. drag them to the EXS Keyboard to the desired Key 4. a popup shows you the correct working Option " Contiguous Zones " Voila..... I have to go outside of Logic to select the samples but I can live with that until the new Update is coming ....... cheers, D Thank Dezzy... Remember to subscribe for the latest videos.

100" Multitouch Table - EM Spectrum Exhibit A view of the 100" multitouch, multiuser exhibit table developed by Ideum () with Adventure Science Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The exhibit is part of a large gallery space at the museum which focuses on astronomy. The table has two computers and projects and a contiguous surface that allows several people to interact simultaneously with the same program. With a 100" surface and an 86" viewable area is it among one of the largest contiguous multitouch tables ever developed. The screen has a 16 x 5 ratio aspect and a 2304 x 800 pixel, high-resolution screen. The exhibit explores the electromagnetic spectrum. The extended aspect ratio mimics the spectrum itself, from radio waves to gamma rays. Visitors can then move images across the table and see how they are imaged in each waveform. The exhibit displays a variety of celestial and terrestrial images in a variety of wavelengths. For example, NASA images of the sun can be seen in all wavelengths. Common and iconic objects were photographed in a variety of wavelengths. For example, a birthday cake with lit candles, a toy robot, an alarm clock, and even a hand holding an iPhone are seen in visible, infrared, ultraviolet, and x-ray. The haptic tempered glass and aluminum and steel construction make the table incredibly durable. Blue LED lighting makes the table stand out. The application was developed using Adobe Flash and GestureWorks (http a multitouch framework and SDK for Flash. This interactive exhibit is ...
ShopSite Flat-Rate Contiguous US Shipping Module ShopSite's built-in flat-rate shipping option does not have the ability to restrict it to only certain countries, states or postal codes. Because we only offer flat-rate shipping to the contiguous US, this was a big problem for us, as the shipping option was showing to AK, HI and international customers too. I created a simple custom shipping module that allows up to 8 flat-rate shipping methods, and ONLY displays to customers in the contiguous US

Spectrum sculpting using reconfigurable OFDM This shows the power spectral density of a reconfigurable OFDM system created using the CTVR Plastic Project platform. You may need to click on the resize button to view this properly. The RF hardware used is the Universal Software Radio Peripheral by Ettus Research LLC (). The centre frequency of this transmission is 2.35GHz, which is in one of the test bands licenced by ComReg for cognitive radio & dynamic spectrum access testing by CTVR. This IFFT size used in this example is 256. The bandwidth of the transmitted OFDM signal is 1MHz. In this video, the number of subcarriers used is dynamically changed from 255 subcarriers (full bandwidth OFDM) right down to zero subcarriers and back again in various contiguous and non-contiguous configurations. We use this ability to coexist with other spectrum users occupying the same frequency band. By creating nulls in the spectrum, interference to and from other users within these nulls can be minimised. Mount San Jacinto San Jacinto Peak, 10834 feet (3302 m), is the highest peak of the San Jacinto Mountains, and of Riverside County, California. It lies within Mount San Jacinto State Park. Naturalist John Muir wrote of San Jacinto Peak, "The view from San Jacinto is the most sublime spectacle to be found anywhere on this earth!" San Jacinto Peak is one of the most topographically prominent peaks in the United States. It is ranked 6th among peaks in the 48 contiguous states. To the east, the peak towers over the city of Palm Springs; to the west, it borders the mountain community of Idyllwild. The peak is also frequently called Mount San Jacinto. The steep escarpment of its north face, above Snow Creek, climbs over 10000 feet (3000 m) in 7 miles (11 km). This is one of the largest gains in elevation over such a small horizontal distance in the contiguous United States. From the peak, San Gorgonio Mountain can be seen across the San Gorgonio Pass. Also easily visible below is the Coachella Valley and the Salton Sea. In addition, much of the Inland Empire, including Ontario to the west, can be viewed on a clear day. Mount San Jacinto is one of the "Three Saints," a name occasionally used to describe the high points of the three tallest mountain ranges in Southern California: San Jacinto Peak, Mount San Gorgonio (high point of the San Bernardino Mountains), and Mount San Antonio (high point of the San Gabriel Mountains).

2008 Weather Satellite Infrared Time-lapse All the weather for 2008 in the contiguous US states from the eastern GOES satellite. Details discussed at egb13.net This was the wettest year on record here in the mid-Mississippi valley, and the 2008 Atlantic hurricane season was a fairly busy one. Note that the images used here do not show clouds per se — it is infrared sensing. That generally correlates to cloud cover, but its not identical. There are often low clouds when this image would make you think the sky is clear. High clouds and thick clouds with high tops — the weather makers — are what these images show most clearly. And those are the interesting ones, of course. The whorl and play of weather systems sweeping across the continent is always fascinating. In certain seasons you can see sea breeze convergence creating diurnal pulses of cumulus clouds over Florida and the Greater Antilles. The rain shadow of mountain ranges is evident. Excel Magic Trick #208 Ctrl + Enter 6 Examples Of Efficiency See how to use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Enter to gain efficiencies when creating Excel Spreadsheets. Save time when creating spreadsheets by using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Enter. 1) If one cell is highlighted and you type a word or formula, when you hit Ctrl + Enter, the word or formula gets put in the cell and the cell remains highlighted. This is efficient when you want to put the word or formula in the cell and then immediately do something to the cell like copy it or format it. 2) If more than one cell is highlighted and you type a word or formula in the active cell, when you hit Ctrl + Enter, all the cells are populated with the word or formula. This is true even if you have non-contiguous cells highlighted. Active Cell is the cell in the highlighted range that is a light color Non-contiguous cells means cells that are not right next to each other; example A1:A3, C2:D4. If you want to edit a bunch of formulas that are all the same, highlighting the whole range, hitting F2 to put the active cell formula into edit mode, editing the formula, and then hitting Ctrl + Enter is efficient

Mount Whitney - To the Summit of Mt. Whitney 14505 FEET The highest summit in the contiguous United States. Mount Whitney is the highest summit in the contiguous United States with an elevation of 14505 feet (4421 m). It is located at the boundary between California's Inyo and Tulare counties, just 76 miles (122 km) west of the lowest point in North America at Badwater in Death Valley National Park (282 feet (86 m) below sea level). The western slope of the mountain lies within Sequoia National Park and the summit is the southern terminus of the John Muir Trail which runs 211.9 miles (341.0 km) from Happy Isles in Yosemite Valley. The eastern slope lies in the Inyo National Forest in Inyo County. The summit of Whitney lies along the Sierra Crest and near many of the highest peaks of the Sierra Nevada. Water that falls to the west of the crest flows into the Pacific Ocean, while that to the east flows into the Great Basin. The peak rises 10778 feet (3285 m) or just over two miles above the town of Lone Pine in the Owens Valley below. Due to its elevation, Mount Whitney is above the tree line and has an alpine climate and ecology. Very few plants grow near the summit: one example is the Sky Pilot, a cushion plant that grows low to the ground. The only animals are transient, such as the butterfly Parnassius phoebus and the Gray-crowned Rosy Finch. The estimated elevation of the summit of Mount Whitney has changed over the years. The technology of elevation measurement has become more refined and, more importantly, the vertical ...
