  • What is Communism, really? Communism Communism is a sociopolitical structure that aims for a classless and stateless with the communal ownership of property. It is also the term for the left wing political philosophy and social movement that advocates and aims to create such a society. Karl Marx posited that communism would be the final stage in society, which would be achieved through a proletarian revolution and only possible after a transitional stage develops the productive forces, leading to a superabundance of goods and services. "Pure communism" in the Marxian sense refers to a classless, stateless society, one where decisions on what to produce and what policies to pursue are made in the best interests of the collective society with the interests of every member of society given equal weight in the practical decision-making process in both the political and economic spheres of life. In modern usage, communism is often used to refer to the policies of the various communist states, which were authoritarian governments that had centrally planned economies and ownership of all the means of production. Most communist governments based their ideology on Marxism-Leninism. As a political ideology, communism is usually considered to be a branch of socialism, a broad group of economic and political philosophies that draw on various political and intellectual movements with origins in the work of theorists of the Industrial Revolution and the French Revolution. Communism attempts to ...

  • Fight for communism to defeat evil fascism! ★☭ KGB OFFICIAL REPORTS (INTERNATIONAL&IMPARTIAL) PARTISAN WORLD NEWS ★☭ DICTATORSHIP OF THE BOURGEOISIE: The most democratic bourgeois republic is no more than a machine for the suppression of the working class by the bourgeoisie, for the suppression of the working people by a handful of capitalists. Even in the most democratic bourgeois republic 'freedom of assembly' is a hollow phrase, for the rich have the best public and private buildings at their disposal, and enough leisure to assemble at meetings, which are protected by the bourgeois machine of power. The rural and urban workers and small peasants -- the overwhelming majority of the population -- are denied all these things. As long as that state of affairs prevails, 'equality', ie, 'pure democracy', is a fraud. 'Freedom of the press' is another of the principal slogans of 'pure democracy'. And here, too, the workers know -- and Socialists everywhere have explained millions of times -- that this freedom is a deception because the best printing presses and the biggest stocks of paper are appropriated by the capitalists, and while capitalist rule over the press remains -- a rule that is manifested throughout the whole world all the more strikingly, sharply and cynically -- the more democracy and the republican system are developed, as in America for example... The capitalists have always use the term 'freedom' to mean freedom for the rich to get richer and for the workers to starve to death. And capitalist usage ...

Philbrick was a salesman who was recruited by the FBI to infiltrate the Communist Party and report back to J. Edgar Hoover. • The Communist Smurfs -Writing, directing, and editing by Evan Topham -Narration by Brad Wilson -Music by Henry Purcell, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Gioacchino Rossini READ BEFORE COMMENTING Since this video's release, people have felt inclined to do one of two things - either bash me for being Communist -OR- praise me for being a fellow comrade. Let me be perfectly clear that this video does not reveal my standpoint on Communism. Instead, it parodies the American mindset on Russian Communism. You should know that this video was NOT made to viewed by tens of thousands of people. When I was in high school, I had the chance to make videos that would be viewed by the entire student body. Since there was no real guidelines as to what I should make, I thought it would be funny to make a McCarthy style documentary warning students and faculty about the dangers of a particular cartoon that nobody even watches anymore. Hearing the USSR National Anthem boom throughout a public American campus was perhaps one of the funniest moments of my high school years. I suppose the message I'm trying to get across to the viewers is this; take this video with a grain of salt - the whole six minutes and thirty seconds is one big long joke anyways. Watch it for what it's worth. By the way, I'm not Russian nor have I ever been to Russia. I do have an uncanny taste for vodka though. FURTHER READING: **CHECK OUT MY OTHER FILMS**

  • What Is Communism Part 2 Communism is a sociopolitical movement that aims for a classless society structured upon communal ownership of the means of production and the end of wage labour and private property.[1] The exact definition of communism varies and it is commonly used interchangeably with socialism, however, communist theory contends that socialism is just a transitional stage on the way to communism. A variety of different forms of communism have developed, each based upon the ideas of different political theorists, usually as additions or interpretations of various forms of Marxism, the collective philosophies of Karl Marx.[2] Marxism-Leninism is the synthesis of Vladimir Lenin's contributions to Marxism, such as how a revolutionary party should be organised; Trotskyism is Leon Trotsky's conception of Marxism and Maoism is Mao Tse Tung's interpretation of Marxism to suit the conditions of China at that time. Communist theory generally states that the only way to solve the problems existing within capitalism is for the working class, referred to as the proletariat, who is the main producer of wealth in society and is exploited by the capitalist class, as explained in theories such as surplus value, to replace the bourgeoisie as the ruling class to establish a society without class divisions, called socialism, as a prelude to attempting to achieve the final stage of communism.[1] Pure communism, or the stage in history after socialism, refers to a classless, stateless society, one where ...

  • Remembering the Victims of Communism Twenty years ago today, the Berlin Wall was breached and Soviet communism, at long last, entered its death spiral. After claiming approximately 100 million victims in the 20th century, communism was dismissed to the ash heap of history. But those who suffered under its boot heel have largely been confined to the history books when not forgotten altogether. Author and historian Lee Edwards set out to correct this oversight with the creation of the Victims of Communism memorial and online museum, dedicated to those who perished because of Communist regimes between 1917 and 1989. Reason.tv spoke to Edwards about the importance of historical memory, plans for a forthcoming bricks-and-mortar museum in Washington, DC, and the paintings of Ukrainian gulag survivor Nikolai Gettman, currently on display at the Heritage Foundation, where Edwards is a "Distinguished Fellow in Conservative Thought." Produced by Meredith Bragg and Michael C. Moynihan. Interview by Moynihan. Shot and edited by Bragg. Approximately 4 minutes.
