Rockpool Adventure 27/05/10 On Thursday, in glorious sunshine, we had a great rockpool adventure with a visiting family. We found some amazing rockpool creatures out by the stone arch of South Milton Sands. We found butterfish, clingfish, 5 types of crabs, moulted crab shells and starfish to name just a few. Not to mention a hige blenny with big teeth that Dad found - with a squeal! Then the children & Dad had a go at making seaweed presses which the children are taking home for "Show & Tell" at school. Bookings now being taken for Summer 2010!

о рождённых 1 АВГУСТА ВГ = 2 АВГУСТА НГ Learn anyone's secrets! --- In short about people born on AUGUST 1 leap or AUGUST 2 common years The given person is not inclined to multitask. This lady does everything in order. But, on the one hand, she does not at all understand what is meant by limits or bounds, and it is possible to say that she does not have a clear sense of what words like "enough" and "sufficient" mean. She also has a tendency to get completely absorbed by a task. On other hand, she divides all activities into segments and operates using a "step-by-step" principle. It is useless to try to tear her away from the task that she is into, and it is better not to try to do that, as her reaction can be rather aggressive. It is easier to ask her at what time she will be finished and usually this lady will answer, as she accurately plans her time for any tasks. No matter if she has reached the result or not—she stops doing things exactly by the clock. If this lady for some reason did not allocate time, for example, for a conversation, then her interlocutors will feel like it lasts for eternity, as she will speak, speak, and speak, having forgotten the topic of the conversation and what it began with. By the way, during conversations she is capable of flirting masterfully. And if she lights a candle, then it is possible to say with confidence, that the subject of the conversation will be changed to philosophy, religion, ethics, and so on. For example, being swept away by ...

Clingfish, (Lepadogaster lepadogaster) This fish really lives up to its common name. It uses specially modified fins to make a sucker and attaches itself to the underside of stones. Once attached it is almost impossible to remove unless it wants to.

My photos of Alaska sea animals! I thought it would be fun to put together some slideshows of my nature photographs. This one is just the marine animals. You will notice a shortage of tetrapods in this, *** them, they get all of the attention! I like the squidgy blobs of goo that transform into surreal, beautiful creatures when in the water. All of the photos in this presentation were taken in the Gulf of Alaska, and most in Juneau or Sitka. I have found that many people are unaware of how colorful our sea life is here. All of these photos are mine and may not be used without attribution. If you wish to use any of these I am happy to share and have higher quality versions, PM me if you are looking for photos of plants, animals, fungi, etc. from Alaska. I have over 4000 photos in my archive!
