Une Grenouille Dans La Vigne Whilst perusing my alarmingly vast array of mind-numbing, migraine-inducing videos I happened to stumble upon this peculiar little misbegotten piece-- An unpalatable tale of perennial non-climacteric fruits and the extrinsically outlandish individuals who ceaselessly attempt to purloin them. Or, to put it in much simpler terms, I found some old ridiculous short movie I made back in 2008 which I never uploaded due to it being a load of *PPPFFFRRBBTTTTT* *glass crashing* *elderly man falling down a flight of stairs*

Shipwrecked Trailer . Shipwrecked is an innovative musical theatre event recounting the amazing story of Francisco de Cuellar, Captain of the San Pedro, who was cast ashore on Steedagh Strand and spent seven months as a fugitive in Connacht and Ulster. De Cuellar's picaresque, stranger-than-fiction narrative brings to life a harrowing vision of apocalypse, survival, compassion and chivalry at one of the climacteric moments in European history. Conceived by Caitríona O'Leary, staged by American director Eric Fraad with sets and costumes by the Italian designer Alessio Rosati, Shipwrecked presents audiences with a completely new musical theatre experience. Presented in the form of a letter to a friend, de Cuellar's adventures are conveyed through narration, drama, dance and staged musical numbers.

"Cli•mac•ter•ic" Tim Guthrie and Jamie Burmeister 2010 "Cli•mac•ter•ic" is an interactive video installation created by artists Jamie Burmeister and Tim Guthrie specifically for PUSH Gallery's inaugural exhibition, in conjunction with World Environment Arts Week, UN World Environment Day and the Green Omaha Coalition. The installation comprises of a room with four video projections that surround a central area. A bicycle resides in the middle of the room. Visitors can interact with it in order to manipulate the projections. As visitors ride the bicycle, a set of video loops change in response to the activity, but if visitors stop riding the bicycle or ignore it altogether, a very different set of video sequences play. At different times, depending on the participation of visitors to the gallery, one might see the environment flooding around them or see waters receding. Or, if things are particularly bad, fires may engulf their environment. Participants can manipulate the videos by cycling, turning handle bars, or honking the horn, among other things. As participants explore, a variety of video sequences are revealed. Visitors essentially foster positive or negative change to their environment, depending on their level of participation.

Perimenopausal bleeding - Menopause Menopause Clinically speaking, menopause is tied to a specific date. Assuming the woman still has a uterus, menopause is defined as the day after her final episode of menstrual flow finishes. This date is fixed retrospectively, once 12 months have gone by with no menstrual flow at all. At this point a woman is considered to be a year into postmenopause, is considered to be infertile, and no longer needs to take into consideration the possibility of pregnancy. In common parlance, however, the word "menopause" usually refers not to one day, but to the whole of the menopause transition years. This span of time is also commonly called the change of life, the change, or the climacteric and more recently is known as "perimenopause", (literally meaning "around menopause"). The word menopause is also often used in popular parlance to mean all the years of postmenopause. Perimenopause Perimenopause is the term used to describe the menopause transition years. In women who have a uterus, perimenopause describes the years before and after the final period (although it is only possible to determine in retrospect which episode of flow was indeed the final period). As a medical convenience, perimenopause is technically defined as the time from which menses start to become irregular and FSH levels have increased, through until 12 months after the last menstrual bleed. However the hormonal changes are gradual, both in onset and in termination, therefore the various possible perimenopause ...

"To Speak of Woe that is in Marriage" by Robert Lowell (poetry reading) I did two readings of this poem, a few days apart. It's so short that I have given them both to make a small point. When I try to read a poem again, perhaps to correct a fault - I misread "swaggering" as "staggering" the first time - it still sounds much the same. I hear a voice in my head - and when I read aloud I'm reproducing that internal voice as well as I can. I can't read it differently. Emphasis tends to impose unintended meaning on poems, so I avoid it unless it's clearly indicated. Americans habitually use more emphasis when speaking: Fox News presenters emphasise almost every word. THIS IS LIKE READING ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. To British ears this makes them less credible than if they delivered the message without creating the impression that it needs a hard sell. I suppose Americans are used to it. "To speak of Woe."..the criticism I get (but only from Americans) is that I sound too woeful, serious or sinister. They're never going to offer me the voiceover for Barney the Dinosaur. Maybe it's because British actors are cast in serious and sinister roles in the movies. I have to accept that Americans hear my voice differently. This never happened in the real world, so it's been a revelation. The British have a similar problem with American voices in that they sound inconsequential, insincere and over-excited. And when they're reading poetry, why do they inflect every line like a question? Or, copying the reading style of Robert Lowell began, with a dying fall at the ...
