Sport flying with the Eflite Blade 400 Doing some sport flying with a few deep bank speed turns and a few stall turns/chandelles. Wind was hit and miss but would gust up to about 12MPH at times. I'm so tempted to try to pull off a loop when I'm doing these stall turns but I'm not into sustained Idle Up flight yet...........yet.

Aerobatic K21 Winch Launch Short aerobatic sequence off a decent height winch launch in a K21. Manoeuvres were a loop and 3 chandelles. Winch is a Skylaunch fitted with a 8.2 litre Chevy V8 engine. Note to Youtube. This video is intended to be for educational and comparative purposes in relation to gliding and glider winch launching. Loop and Chandelle Demonstration One of Cambridge Gliding Centre's Aerobatics instructors demonstrates a couple of loops followed by a couple of Chandelles in a K21. The film was shot on a Panasonic Lumix TZ7 in 720p HD and was hard to hold level when under 3.5g but the image stabilisation did a sterling job of smoothing the bumps!

Valse aux chandelles - Beim Kerzenlicht - Candlelight Waltz This tune is readily recognized as Auld Lang Syne. It is performed here on my vintage Iorio accordion, first on the concert register, then the clarinet, oboe, piccolo, and concert registers. This instrument is a 4/ 5 reed accordion dating from the 1950's. Although some restorative work has just been done on the reeds & leathers, a few of the piccolo notes are a bit shy to sound. I admire the craftsmanship & artistry of the Iorio design team that lovingly put this instrument together so long ago. (Dedicated to my dear friend Inky, for all that she has done to foster great music on You Tube! Thank you for the Love Contest and for the integrity of your inspiration, dear Inky!) Auld Lang Syne may loosely be translated as "for the sake of old times." It is a Scots poem by Robert Burns written in 1788, based in large part upon the poem/ song "Old Long Syne" by James Watson from 1711. The tune itself may have been borrowed or inspired by a strathspey known as "The Miller's Wedding" or "The Miller's Daughter." The composer William Shield (1748 - 1829) quotes this tune in his opera "Rosina." The first stanza and the chorus from Auld Lang Syne: Should old acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind? The Chase Me having fun online in my SE5a called "Stardust" I sneaked up on a Fokker Dr1, and managed to shoot him down using "Boom and Zoom" tactics. Then I got an Albatros stuck on my tail, but I finally turned the table on him by doing scissors and a few chandelles. He had to land, and I let him do so. I couldn't resist a close "Salute" pass though :) I hope you enjoy it.
