In this example I am re-stuffing a DSE801 pen style cartridge, but the same techniques can be used to re-stuff any size cartridge. I also show you how to separate and cut your Fluval for the minimum amount of waste. Fluval can be bought at most pet supply stores in the fish/aquarium department. Tools needed, 1) Tweezers, One square tip and one needle tip. A pair of angel tip tweezers can be useful for inserting the tube if you choose to do a tube mod. 2) Scissors. Basic steps. 1) Separate your Fluval into 3 layers of equal thickness. 2) Cut a strip from one layer approximately the width of your cartridge. Tip: Cut along the short end then cut in 1/4 for 901 mini style cartridges. Cut along the long side and cut in 1/4 for 801 pen style carts. 3) Place the Fluval in your square tip tweezers and scrunch the end of the Fluval in the tweezers tip. 4) Insert the Fluval into the cartridge with your tweezers. 5) Use your other hand to hold the foam when removing your new stuffing to prevent it from falling out when your remove the tweezers. 6) Fill with your favorite juice and enjoy.

Replace Stuck Moen Shower Faucet Cartridge I show how I removed a stuck Moen shower cartridge using an Easy Out tool. I initially attempted to remove the sleeve of the cartridge using a tap and dowel, but I apparently did not have the right size tap, so I searched my toolbox and found a No. 6 easy out that did the trick. This Moen shower valve is 45 years old and hadn't been used in at least a year. The cartridge was stuck due to an accumulation of mineral deposits over time. It is a very common problem.

HP Business InkJet 1100 Printer HACK Expired Cartridge Bypass/Fix I opened up my printer and fixed it/hacked it to do my bidding! HP has some ink that has a chip inside to tell your printer it can't print without some new ink. So you get to either spend 120.00 for new ink or do this. Here is the work around for the date issue but it doesn't always work. n the printer ini file (c:/windows/hpbj1100.ini) I made one change.... the following line DeviceIoControl error:=997 changed to DeviceIoControl error:=0000 ---------------------------------------- There is NO BATTERY in the HP1100 so the remove the battery will not fix the problem. You can backdate your computer and turn off the printer and then unplug it then start it up and it should work for you for a while. Supposedly ----------------------------------- HP should be sued for this as it's extortion and I never would have bought the stupid thing had I been told of this ( I was not ) the ink cartridge itself doesn't even mention this it just as an expiration date. I will likely NEVER buy another HP product. I had a good size ink leak that may have caused a short on my board that senses the ink levels. So I was having more than just Ink Expired problems but this hack will fix that too. I only print B&W and only print once or twice a week. Not a heavy user. so HP! YOU SUCK!
