Business Intelligence Demonstration I made this presentation for a client. It is twenty-seven minutes long, and is unlike any of the other videos I have posted prior to this date; it will hold little interest for most people. The video posted as a response shows how to download a higher-quality version. Somewhere after minute 16, the narration gets scratchy for a few seconds. I hope to fix that, but since I haven't already, it probably won't be fixed.

Network - The World is a Business 5 minutes and one of the most true, impressive and powerful scenes of the 1976 masterpiece "Network" by director Sidney Lumet. Arthur Jensen explains to Howard Beale how economy and business work and how this determines our everybody's life. Although this movie is quite old, these laws and explanations apply and are even more true today than 33 years ago when the movie was shown for the first time. Listen carefully.

Bachman Turner Overdrive-Taking care of business You get up every morning From your alarm clock's warning Take the 8:15 into the city There's a whistle up above And people pushin', people shovin' And the girls who try to look pretty And if your train's on time You can get to work by nine And start your slaving job to get your pay If you ever get annoyed Look at me I'm self-employed I love to work at nothing all day And I'll be... Why Can't Chuck Get His Business Off the Ground? How can Americans create private sector jobs? The solution to America's jobs problem lies not with budget-busting federally mandated "stimulus" programs. Instead, what is needed are specific reforms that wouldn't cost taxpayers, would create a broader tax base for cash-strapped cities and states, and would provide opportunity for millions of Americans who worry where their next paycheck is coming from. As demonstrated by a series of eight new reports issued in October 2010 by the Virginia-based Institute for Justice, one of the principal obstacles to creating new jobs and entrepreneurial activity in cities across the country is the complex maze of regulations cities and states impose on small businesses. IJ's "city study" reports are filled with real-world examples of specific restrictions that often make it impossible for entrepreneurs to create jobs for themselves, let alone for others. Chip Mellor, the president and general counsel of the Institute for Justice, said, "If the nation is looking to the federal government to create jobs in America, it is looking in the wrong place. If we want to grow our economy, we must remove government-imposed barriers to honest enterprise at the city and state levels. Remove those barriers, and you will see a return to the optimism and opportunity that are hallmarks of the American Dream." IJ's eight reports document how irrational and anti-competitive regulations block entrepreneurship. More often than not, these government ...

The Revolution Business - World June 2011 Democratic change has been demanded across the Middle East. But was what seems like a spontaneous revolution actually a strategically planned event, fabricated by 'revolution consultants' long in advance? Revolution consultants are the worst nightmare of every regime. Srdja Popovic was a founder of the organisation 'Otpor', a revolution training school. It was instrumental in the overthrow of Slobodan Milosevic in the 1990s and has now inspired a new generation of activists. Political commentators like William Engdahl are convinced Otpor is being financed by the USA. "The people from Otpor gave us a book in which they described all their strategies", says Ezzedine Zaatour of the Tunisian uprising. That book was written by an American, Gene Sharp, and is now considered the "revolution guide book", being used by opposition movements worldwide. As Optor release their latest gadget, a resistance training computer game sponsored by American organisations, world leaders are voicing their concerns. "This is called a gentle coup!", insists Hugo Chavez.
