Slithering Beauty!.wmv Nature's beauty...our snake Lara, shedding her skin and then revealing a bright new look. It took about 8 minutes to remove the old skin with her twisting and turning making the job easier. She even put pressure herself over her body to help the process along. This species is a Woma Python and can grow up to 2.3 metres in length. Seen in open forest and Brigalow communities. Non-venomous and a reluctant biter. In the wild they feed on...lizards, snakes and mammals. Have been known to take birds as well. Lay up to 28 eggs per clutch and are active both day and night. Hopefully soon Lara will be breeding with her mate Leo, who is housed in the enclosure above her.

Baba Djurja- Self made Gajda This is a macedonian gajda in 'A' with a high drone that plays in unison with the chanters A. the drone is made of cooktown ironwood and the chanter is brigalow. the little drone is african blackwood. The goat skin is chemically tanned and is beautifully soft- and it doesnt have the meaty-animaly smell of tradional salt cured skins- and it is more airtight. i finished making this instrument in december 08. i am currently taking orders for these instruments and bulgarian kaba gaidas which i will upload a video of soon. wait time is up to six months but will be worth it. message me for more info.
