P205 Christ the bond servant Philippians 2:6-7 explained simply Have you ever wanted to understand the books of the Bible and have a simple man of God spend time with you and share what they mean. Stay with us in this P2 series and listen to Philippians chapter 2 expounded simply.
No greater love than this! Not one person in the whole wide world I am sure would be willing to die even for his/her friend much less for one to die for his/her enemy/ies. But Christ did the ultimate sacrifice to die on the cross to atone for man's sins - From human perspective, it is hard to imagine a rich man/bilionaire to voluntarily sacrifice his life for his servant; much less, a God, creator of the whole universe to die for sinful man. But that is exactly what Jesus Christ did. Philippians 2:6-8 "...although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men, and being found in the appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on the cross." And all these for our sakes though sinful as we all are. The contents of the video are extracts from Mel Gibson's movie, "The Passion of Christ". I have chosen this video for to my mind it's an audio-visual experience that allows lots of contrasts; man versus God the Father/God the Son even as this video comes closest to the "real" passion of the "real Christ" who died on the cross some 2000 years ago. Likewise, I have chosen this video for its visuals as they picture man's sinful heart; his arrogance and pride, his sin of unbelief even his ignorance for if he knew who Jesus truly was, he would not have crucified Him; his ignorance because Satan has veiled his eyes to the truth ...

Slaves for Christ, Part 2 of 3 (John MacArthur) King James Version "Paul, a PRISONER of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer," Philemon 1:1 "Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God," Romans 1:1 "Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ..." Phillipians 1:1 New American Standard Version "Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon our beloved and fellow-worker, " Philemon 1:1 'Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God," Romans 1:1 "Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, to all the saints in Christ Jesus that are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons: " Phillipians 1:1 ---- You're already a slave, the question is now, to whom, or to what? Titus ! Titus 1 Greeting 1 Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of Gods elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness, 2 in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began, 3 but has in due time manifested His word through preaching, which was committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior; 4 To Titus, a true son in our common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ[a] our Savior. Qualified Elders 5 For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint elders in every city as I commanded you— 6 if a man is blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of dissipation or insubordination. 7 For a bishop[b] must be blameless, as a steward of God, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, 8 but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled, 9 holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict. The Elders Task 10 For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, 11 whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain. 12 One of them, a prophet of their own, said ...

Back to the Future - Revelation's Author and Date www.living-hope- - The book clearly identifies the earthly instrument in writing Revelation, saying that Christ sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John (1:1). We say earthly instrument because we must remember that the real Author of the book is not the apostle John but God Omniscient Himself. But, what this book does not tell us is—which John? There were several in the New Testament world, and because there were several in the early church it would be incumbent upon the earthly author to tell us which one he is, that is, if he were any other than the apostle John. However, to say John was sufficient. Any other John would need a descriptive epithet, but there was one John who needed none. Which John would that be? The external evidence is overwhelmingly in favor of this view, and Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Tertullian, Hippolytus, and Origen testify direct testimony that the Apocalypse is the writing of the apostle John.

Walk With Me, Lord - Michael Card "Walk With Me, Lord," sung by Denny Denson, is found on Michael Card's "The Hidden Face of God" album. We each walk our own trail of tears; and not one of us will get out of this life without suffering, just as Jesus didn't. He, however, bore all that he did for us. Just as he carried the cross, He will carry ours as well, our sins, burdens, sorrows and shame. He sees all our scars even the ones unseen. This is the Man that I want to walk with me. He breaks the bonds and sets us free. Phil 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
Part 1 Slavery Enslaving human beings is wrong, so why does the Bible condone it? An Honest Search for the Truth - Part 1 Slavery This video is the first of a series that will address inconsistencies & contradictions in the Bible that we studied and researched on our way out of organized religion. The videos will be derived from a document containing that body of research which was written to answer the many inquiries we knew we would have after our deconversion was made public. Being 3rd generation Christians, the flavor of which holds that the Bible is inerrant, divinely inspired, and literally interpreted, the extrication of ourselves from organized religion was not without exit wounds. Our hope is that this video series will help those Christians who have questions or may be "riding the fence" to allow rational discourse with regard to their religious beliefs. And that possibly, they can remove the thought constraints installed by their respective religous beliefs. All multimedia displayed is done so with fair use intended, for entirely non-profit, educational purposes. Bondservants of Christ 1 There is a deeper walk with God in the Christian life. It is that of the bondservant.
Would Jesus save lazy man? A smart CEO will not hire someone imperfect over someone who is immaculate. Because hiring a lazy dirty man who can't even take care of themselves, cannot take care of company's work. Jesus won't hire lazy dirty and unrighteous men to work for His Kingdom. Nor will He let un-repented sinners enter the Kingdom of God just because they call Him Lord Lord. Read Jude 1 Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, To those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ: 2 Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. 3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. 4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. 5 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to ***ual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set ...

STREET EVANGELISM 6/7 PROPER ATTITUDE & DEMEANOR: FROM A LOVING HEART 2TIM. 2:24-25 The Lord's bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, -------------------------- 5-responding to adversity ROMANS 12:17-21 17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay,"says the Lord. On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
"This Is NOT The End Of The World!": MSNBC Host Calls Book Of Revelation "A Work Of Fiction" MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell said last week on his program: "The Book of Revelation is a work of fiction describing how a truly vicious God would bring about the end of the world. No half-smart religious person actually believes the Book of Revelation. Those people are certain that their God would never turn into a malicious torturer and mass murderer beyond Hitler's wildest dreams." The funny part is that O'Donnell is partially correct. This isn't the end yet. But the signs of times clearly indicate we are nearing the end of the age as foretold in Revelation. God said in His Word 2000 years ago: "And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them." Revelation 9:6 "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John, who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near." (Revelation 1:1-3) As terrible as these disasters are, this is nothing compared to what the Bible says awaits those who reject the love of God in His Son Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins. It is appointed unto men once to die and after this the judgment (Hebrews 9:27); unlike what heretic Rob Bell says, you don't get to repent ...
Voluntary Servitude by Deception This video explains the difference between a primary and sovereign "Citizen of the United States" as denoted by an uppercase "C" at Article 1 Section 2 Clause 2 of the organic or original Constitution, which has been, and remains to be, the inherent right of every "free Person" in America who have been recognized at Article 1 Section 2 Clause 3 since 1787 when it was first adopted, versus a secondary and subclass of citizen known as a "citizen of the United States" as denoted by a lowercase "c" under the 14th Amendment, who did not come into existence until 1868 (some three years upon the conclusion of the American Civil War in 1865) which was ostensibly drafted to provide the same "rights" to recently freed black slaves, that are secured to free Citizens by the Bill of Rights, and are extended to every free Person in the several States by Article 4 Section 2 Clause 1, but rather only granted them mirrored "privileges and immunities" under Section 1 of the 14th Amendment, which do not however include the non-enumerated rights retained to free Citizens of the several States by the 9th & 10th Amendments. Was there no such thing as a "US Citizen" or "Citizen of the United States" prior to 1868 ? Of course there was. However, our founding fathers designed our sovereignty to be derived from one's native State first and foremost (and not the federal government as 14th Amendment citizenship is) and then by virtue of our primary State Citizenship it has always been established ...

Philippians (The Epistle of Paul to the Philippians) The Epistle of Paul to the Philippians, usually referred to simply as Philippians, is the eleventh book in the New Testament. Biblical scholars agree that it was written by St. Paul to the church of Philippi. This authentic Pauline letter was written c 62. Composition Paul's composition of Philippians is "universally accepted" (Beare, p. 1) by the academic community, both ancient and modern. It is possible that the kenosis passage in Philippians 2:5-11 may have been a Christian hymn that Paul quoted. Philippians 2:5-11: Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. The letter was written to the church at Philippi, one of the earliest churches to be founded in Europe. They were very attached to Paul, just as he was very fond of them. Of all the churches, their contributions (which Paul gratefully acknowledges) are among the only ones he ...
