You either have to wipe the brush on the opening of the tube and try to maneuver the excess back in or wipe it off with a tissue. What a waste of time and product. Lash Control is a mind-bendingly simple but brilliantly effective way to combat this problem. By merely squeezing the pliable silicone band on the tube, you wipe the excess mascara off the wand ...before it's removed. I told you it was brilliant (and simple). There are volumizing and lengthening formulas and it also comes in clear for when you want lash definition without addition color (I use it on guys and to tame eyebrows also). My favorite application is a coat of volumizing to fatten lashes up and then a coat of lengthening. I finish with a coat of clear to seal the deal and make sure it doesn't ever smudge.
