  • [S3][P13] Silent Hill 2 [HTSF] [How To Successfully FAIL at Silent Hill 2] Set parts: 14 Wiki: Released: 24th of September, 2001 Platform used: PC Recorder used: Fraps Notes: Good game, good game.. a little short by modern survival horror standards, but ya can't hold that against it. My only MAJOR gripe, wasn't about the game itself, but the PC port of it.. it seriously was the worst port AND buggiest piece of *** game i've ever had the misfortune to play. I really do hope they got a different team to do SH3 and 4. Graphically, bar the shadows, it still looks nice even today, and sound wise, the only complaint here was the normalisation (which may even be due to the PC port). Overall, i'd give it a solid A-.. great game, nice and atmospheric, and a decent enough story (though I think the story is what gave it an A- as opposed to a straight up A). Don't touch the PC version with a barge pole. Enjoy! -OTG

  • I may be a nerd but I won't tolerate this from any OS in 2010. Why I won't be installing Ubuntu this time. I guess I'll try again next year. But it better get its act together. Two years ago I tried Ubuntu, but I could not configure the Wireless settings so that it could connect to my network. This time I tried to install it on my laptop, and it didn't recognise the built in DELL 1395 Wireless network card. My PC is a bog standard DELL Inspiron 1720. I consider the mouse, the keyboard, the Video card, the Sound card, the USB and Ethernet slots and, YES, with this being the year 2010, a bog-standard in-built Wireless Network card to be the sort of standard peripherals that any self-respecting OS should recognise and at least give a basic level of support for. Even Windows XP, for example, loaded "standard" drivers for the peripherals that were commonly used 10 years ago. Every OS, including ubuntu, does that nowadays for the Video card, mouse, keyboard and sound card, but it should do the same for the wireless. Until Ubuntu can get that sorted I'm not touching it with a large barge pole. Sorry. It IS competing against Windows, and if it can't be as easy to install out of the box, then it doesn't stand a chance.

  • Speakers' Corner: "Ohhh you're talking about vampires?!" Apologies for sound quality, it was very windy, and we could not stop laughing. Also note we respect people's religious beliefs, cultures, ethnicity, we do, but this was just too much. You couldn't not laugh. I believe based on other videos on here the lady is a regular speaker. In this video she's being heckled by a man drinking a can of white star (quite successfully, not in the video, but at one point she actually got down off of her step ladder). Her points included we should fear God, foreigners are bad, Jews should get over it, SHUT UP, I wouldn't touch you with a barge pole, but nothing coherent. Favourite lines include: "God is love, God is hate" Speaker "Oh a schizophrenic" Heckler "Remember, you are never going to die..." Speaker "Ohhhhhhhhh you're talking about vampires?!" Heckler "they need to get over their paranoia about Germans" Speaker "the problem with Germans is you don't know if they're German or Polish.... I like Poles" Heckler And the whole thing about her points being titles of songs. More information:

  • PYST Home Business Tutorial How To Get Targeted Lead... TARGETED MLM LEAD- HOW TO MAKE YOUR PROSPECTS CHASE YOU FOR A CHANGE? People who are in the MLM business are usually considered to be quite persistent and consistent. Well, the business plan itself requires that these people network with as amny people as possible so that they can expand their network and enhance their business potentials. They cannot help networking, however, this can seriously backfire. If you try to aggressively market your network marketing plan to a bunch of people who are least interested in what you are trying to tell, you will obviously meet with stiff opposition and even resentment. The result can be that people will try to avoid touching you with a barge pole at any future events. So what is the solution? How can you build a network of people without networking with them? The answer is not as contrived as it may seem. Ever heard of targeted Leads? MLM business, all businesses, routinely strive to get as many targeted leads for their businesses as is possible. What are these targeted leads then? To put it very simply, targeted leads are leads from people who are interested in the business plan you are selling. These people already have an interest and inclination to take up such an opportunity. The ground work has been done. Only now you need to convince them to join your business network. That should not be much of an uphill task considering they are already looking for such a venture to join in. The internet has made it ...

  • Ferryman passes on the family barge pole CCTV News Wan Qizhen is a ferryman, whose family has transported local villagers across the Dashahe River in Hubei province for generations. He recently became a well known media name, following his retirement after many years of service. Let's finds out how the old man spent his first Lunar New Year on dry land. It's New Year's Eve in the Chinese lunar calendar. Local villagers paid early visits to the river crossing, to celebrate the holiday with their ferryman. Wan Qifeng, Villager, said, "He is a very responsible ferryman. The entire village has come here to celebrate the Spring Festival, wishing him health and good luck." Villagers say that Wan Qizhen would always help them cross the river whenever he was needed. He would even wait at the crossing during harvest time, when things were busy. • Oxford C*** - Braunston to Hillmorton (time lapse) No apologies for stuffing the Braunston Turn in yet again, but 6 months later I still haven't got over the Scottish Git Mr John Ross and his narrowboat Schiehallion tied pointy end to a tree and reducing a narrow c*** to a single boats width on what must be the busiest section of c*** on the system. Right, having got that off my chest, this is a Saturday afternoon cruise north up the northern section of the Oxford C*** to Hillmorton. Six miles and no locks but lots of moored and oncoming boats so cruising mostly at around two miles per hour and the whole thing took around three hours. A couple of southbound, Saturday starting Viking Afloater's hadn't quite got the idea of what 2 mph is all about, but our good friend nb Katie of the AWAY4AWHILE hotel boat fleet took the biscuit once again. The bugger tried to overtake us through the bridge hole of Farmer's Bridge No 75 and then when we found a safe place to pull over yelled "I'm commercial you're just on holiday" "Any time" sez me "Wot you say to me?" he hollers. Never ever has a barge pole been closer to a rectum. If you're quick you can just see the *** vanishing into the distance at a warp speed that would have impressed Dr Spock. Then we arrive at Hillmorton. Do yourselves a favour. Don't stop here for the night. You could actually moor at the end of the garden of the pub. The Old Royal Oak. Don't. The kids would sink it. Or, perhaps one of their obese parents would fall on it and save them the bother. The ...

  • Youtube Poop - Hmm This hasn't prevented a handful of scientists persevering with cold-fusion research. They stand on the sidelines, diligently getting on with their experiments and, every so often, they wave their arms frantically when they think have made some progress. Nobody notices, though. Why? These days the mainstream science media wouldn't touch cold-fusion experiments with a barge pole. They have learnt their lesson from 1989, and now treat "cold fusion" as a byword for bad science. Most scientists* agree, and some even go so far as to brand cold fusion a "pathological science" — science that is plagued by falsehood but practiced nonetheless. [*CORRECTION 29/05/08: It has been brought to my attention that part of this last sentence appears to be unsubstantiated. After searching through past articles I have to admit that, despite it being written frequently, I can find no factual basis that "most scientists" think cold fusion is bad science (although public scepticism is evidently rife). However, there have been surveys to suggest that scientific opinion is more likely divided. According to a 2004 report by the DOE, which you can read here, ten out of 18 scientists thought that the hitherto results of cold-fusion experiments warranted further investigation.] There is a reasonable chance that the naysayers are (to some extent) right and that cold fusion experiments in their current form will not amount to anything. But it's too easy to be drawn in by the crowd and overlook a genuine ...
  • B&F C*** - Curdworth to Salford Junction (time lapse) This is a 5.6 mile journey, south along the Birmingham C*** Navigations (Birmingham and Fazeley C*** -- Main Line) from Curdworth Visitor Moorings to Salford Junction South and the turn onto the Grand Union C*** (Birmingham and Warwick Junction C***) As we had agreed with our host in the White Horse the previous evening, Curdworth was probably the last safe place to stop along this section of c***. Accordingly and largely for security reasons, we mounted the camera on the blunt end and kept the barge pole handy. There are two problems with this. Firstly, our noble skipper spends half his time fannying about with the camera introducing artistic pans and zooms rather than concentrating on his skippering. Needless to say every last one of these "artistic gems" had to be edited out giving the movie a more disjointed look than it should have. Secondly, you need nerves of steel and eyes like a hawk as the high mounted camera comes exceedingly close to low bridges and overhanging branches. A perfect example of this can be seen at Caters Bridge, the entrance to Minworth Bottom Lock, where only a last second heave of the tripod against its bungee cords saves, at the very least, an expensive wide angle lens from being shattered. Very soon after leaving Curdworth we find ourselves in the badlands/industrial wastelands of Birmingham. The Minworth flight of three locks rises 16 feet 8 inches and at Tyburn Bridge kids threw a lollipop at us. Double hard ***s yer brummie kids ...

Anyroadup, this is short stretch of the Trent and Mersey C*** (Mail Line -- Middlewich to Preston Brook) from King's Lock No 71 to Middlewich Big Lock No 75 (Quite why this last lock is a broad one when every other lock on the Trent and Mersey is narrow we have no idea). And fun and games it was too. While navigating from Lock No 72 to Lock No 73 around the 90 degree left hand bend, I had people from the bank, people from other boats and my crew on the walkie talkie screaming instructions to "STAY RIGHT", "GO THIS WAY", and "GO THAT WAY". I ignored every bugger and powered me way round regardless. I reckon the guy coming out of Lock No 74 should have "Lock Lurched" rather than being led out on a rope. He ended up against the towing path with his crew seeming to think they should push off the pointy end but couldn't reach it. Then came the wonderful sequence of "Give me the boat hook, never mind I'll do the splits and get it myself" and then the young lady, almost treading on her camera, proceeded to use said boat hook, holding it pike like and ran their narrowboat through! We moored for the night just below the Big Lock. I was sitting there, as you do, contemplating the peak of me cap and anticipating dinner, while the good lady wife was black leading the cat, when I was suddenly aware of a mighty and violent jerking. Leaping onto the ...
  • 'Mo Chaudry is a liar and a cheat', says two-faced Vale director Peter Jackson slanders Mo Chaudry and reveals privately what they can't say in public - calling Mo a liar and a cheat. They've been told not to touch him with a bargepole by Roger Ibbs and Joan Walley. Not a great recording but I have a transcript if you need it.

  • Mickey the enforcer the bowl contains only sultanas which foxes love but cats wouldn't touch with a barge pole. However our skinny fox loves them and at least has time to finish of the bowl before Mickey arrives to send the visitor packing Remember Mickey is stone deaf so any vocal protest by the fox goes unheard
  • Plenty Of Fish or how to avoid fat people This is just my opinion and I have met women with all shapes and sizes. But the attitude on Plenty Of Fish of the women there is that they are gods gift. I would not touch them with a 10 foot barge pole. Seriously and most of them post pics that are 10 years younger which probably means there has been 10 years more of flab to grow and pizza eating

  • Freemasonic society illuminati It seems obvious that freemasons play an important role in the structure of todays society. But what role? Most sheeple dont know of freemasonry or have even heard the word. The tv wont touch it with a barge pole and the veneer of civilization is peeling away. Investigate the New World Order and you will see the fingerprint of freemasonry all around you especialy on tv. The secret teachings of the ancient mystery religions are kept in the hands of the few and dribbled down the layers of freemasonry until it becomes nonexistent and "just a mens business club" with secret handshakes and dodgy deals. good works are done in the sunshine not behind close doors. Dont trust a social Darwinist they are confused!!!!!
  • [S3][P10] Silent Hill 2 [HTSF] [How To Successfully FAIL at Silent Hill 2] Set parts: 14 Wiki: Released: 24th of September, 2001 Platform used: PC Recorder used: Fraps Notes: Good game, good game.. a little short by modern survival horror standards, but ya can't hold that against it. Enjoy! -OTG
