Bandura - The Soviet Army Ensemble The Soviet Army Ensemble/The Red Army Choir. Bandura, famous Ukrainian folk song about a man who longs for his beloved's deep, brown eyes. His only friend is his musical instrument, his bandura... I dedicate this song to someone who changed my life. Sometimes I think back to those golden times, I myself remember her beautiful eyes, and sometimes it seems like my only friend is my music... To this special person, I wish you a happy life, like the way you made me feel.

Piano: Nadia Bandura Vocals: Holly Kirby Music/music performance: Rob Elliott Lyrics: Tom Simanek Pyramid of Love The Nile finds life in the Mountains of the Moon; it winds down to the sea, it flows eternally, goddess of a river. My heart finds strength in the sheer depth of your love; it flows from you to me, it washes over me, river of a goddess. (chorus) And I'm carried away, gently lifted on a wave like a leaf before the wind. I'm lifted high to the temple of the sun, to a pyramid of love, into your waiting arms. The Nile is life and the Valley of the Kings; a land of mystery, discord and harmony, and timeless caravans. Our love will stand like a pyramid of stone; with perfect symmetry, faultless geometry for caravans of time. (chorus) And I'm carried away, gently lifted on a wave like the heat across the sand. I'm lifted high to the temple of the sun, to a pyramid of love, into your waiting arms. copyright 2010 Elliott/Simanek all rights reserved

Albert Bandura, Social Learning and his Bobo Doll experiment I created this video in 2008 to accompany a presentation entitled "Beyond the Playground." My presentation was about bullying and its effects. I focused on Albert Bandura's social learning theory which states individuals, especially children, learn aggressive responses from observing others, either personally or through the media and environment. He stated that many individuals believed that aggression will produce reinforcements. These reinforcements can formulate into reduction of tension, gaining financial rewards, or gaining the praise of others, or building self-esteem (Siegel, 1992: p.171) Bandura focused his studies on aggression. His Bobo doll experiment is his most famous and was conducted in the early 1960s. In this experiment, Bandura found that children were more likely to beat the hell out of an inflatable clown doll if they had observed someone else doing it. They were also drawn to a toy gun in the room. Music: "Making Me Sick" Bash & Pop and "Clowns are Experts (At making us laugh)" The Vandals Video:

BANDURA'S SOCIAL COGNITIVE THEORY: AN INTRODUCTION ( DAVIDSON FILMS ) Treading new ground in the field of social psychology, Albert Banduras work has become basic to an understanding of how social forces influence individuals, small groups and large groups. From his early BoBo doll experiments through his work with phobias, to his recent work on self-efficacy, Bandura has given us a sense of how people actively shape their own lives and those of others. Utilizing archival materials and newly shot visuals, students will be introduced to the vocabulary and innovative methods of this influential thinker. Dr. Banduras narration imbues this video with his compelling presentation style and intellectual authority. With Albert Bandura, Ph.D. This is a short clip from the film.
