Coast to Coast - Alex Jones - National Defense Authorization Act 12-4-2011 NDAA Concerns In the first half hour, Alex Jones talked about the National Defense Authorization Act, a piece of legislation that recently passed both houses of Congress and may have dire effects on civil liberties. He warned that, if the act is implemented, "it is truly an end of our Republic" and cited an ACLU study of the bill which called it "the most unconstitutional legislation in modern history." Facets of the bill which particularly trouble Jones are that it allows for the end of posse comitatus, which bars the military from domestic operations, and that it gives the Pentagon the right to secretly arrest Americans and hold them without a trial. _____________________________ Army Post Jobs for FEMA Camps, DHS Shuts Down Blog & More: Infowars Nightly News Another unsettling sign post has cropped up in the wake of the Senate's passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), as the Army has now reportedly designated a special prison guard unit for securing 'civilian detainees.' A similar job posting was advertised under the National Guard in 2009, which Infowars reported on at the time. Only days ago, leaked documents from inside KBR, a Halliburton subsidiary, announced the activation of FEMA camps, with calls to staff a wide array of services inside the temporary emergency facilities. ____________________________________ Fed Interest in Food Storage Facility Connected to FEMA Executive Order 10999 www.prisonplanet ...

Chicago Teachers Union Strike Authorization June 2012 WLSTV The Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) revealed nearly 90 percent of its eligible members voted to give their labor organization the authority to call a strike should contract negotiations reach an impasse. The Union has been in negotiations with the Chicago Public School system (CPS) since November 2011. A new state law requires a 75 percent of all eligible CTU voters to vote in the affirmative in order to provide strike authorization. Although both CTU and CPS are in the fact-finding stage of negotiations, the Union pointed out that the independent review will only provide recommendations on a small number of contract concerns. Public school educators say they are fighting for smaller class sizes, art, music, world language and physical education classes for students, and fair compensation for being asked to work under more difficult guidelines as determined by CPS. Armed with strike authorization, teachers, paraprofessionals and clinicians say they believe this will give them more leverage at the bargaining table going forward. Should a strike become necessary, the Union's 800-member House of Delegates will set the date for a work stoppage.

Vlog 27: S. 1867 National Defense Authorization Act DISCLAIMER: Go and educate yourself and read the facts about this Bill ON YOUR OWN AS WELL, and come to your own conclusions. I'm just laying down my own thoughts ya dig? Remember it's still a comedy video. I'm only going to type this once. The reason to why this is frightful is not because SUDDENLY everyone who is minimally suspect is going to be detained. It is the fact that at a SINGLE person's whim our right's can be stripped away at an instant. Constitutional rights can much more EASILY be nullified. The CLEAR possibility to take away our rights as citizens and the abuse of power , if passed, can be abused at any given time without DUE PROCESS. THIS ALONE, is frightening Though i doubt the "average" American Citizen would be considered a national threat or a terrorist the ambiguity and broad definition of what defines a terrorist is a cause for alarm. We do have a system of checks and balances but power can easily be abused and the option to do so has just been bolstered by this bill. This is some bull*** and even if you don't know about or care about what's going in our government you should know about this!!! "Shut Up. You Don't Get a Lawyer!": The Defense Authorization Act Guts Civil Liberties "It is not unfair to make an American citizen account for the fact that they decided to help Al Qaeda to kill us all and hold them as long as it takes to find intelligence about what may be coming next," says Sen. Lindsay Graham (RS.C.) in support of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). "And when they say, 'I want my lawyer,' you tell them, 'Shut up. You don't get a lawyer.'" No recent piece of legislation has been more controversial than the NDAA, which passed the Senate last week and includes provisions that apparently grant the president unlimited power to detain American citizens arrested in connection to terrorism. The House approved its version of the NDAA earlier this year, so the legislature must hammer out differences and present a final version to President Barack Obama. For his part, Obama has threatened to veto the legislation not because it tramples on civil liberties but because it subject executive actions to congressional oversight. Earlier this fall, Reason's Matt Welch talked to Laura Pitter, counterterrorism adviser for Human Rights Watch. "The terms in the bill are so vague that it can really be applied to anyone the US deems is an enemy," says Pitter, who underscores that federal courts are far more effective and efficient when it comes to prosecuting terrorism-related cases. Since the 9/11 attacks, she notes, federal criminal courts have resolved over 400 terrorism-related cases while military commissions have prosecuted just six cases ...

Ron Paul The National Defense Authorization Act NDAA The sad march to Tyranny continues. Barack Obama just signed the most insidious piece of legislation in US history and all the GOP candidates agree with him except one. Ron Paul fights for the freedom of every American at the time in our nation's history when our liberty is more at stake than ever before. Though the 5th Amendment to the Constitution is highlighted in this video, the abuses of power seen in government today extend far beyond the extreme violations presented here. Now that bills like the "USA Patriot Act" and the "National Defense Authorization Act" have been signed into law, they have suspended our most precious freedoms guaranteed by our highest law. In the radical new law passed by Barack Obama and supported by Mitt Romney and nearly all bureaucrats in both major parties, our due process, our bodily freedom, and even our lives are now at the arbitrary mercy of present-day and future-unknown bureaucrats. Candidates like Newt Gingrich raise their hands in the air making sweeping pronouncements that they care about "freedom" in answer to a question about a single issue. Mitt Romney changes his position to fit whatever audience he's standing in front of. It is stunning to see how far we've pushed away from our rule of law in this country to be in such profound ignorance and disrespect of our Constitution that we don't even have to Amend it to get the illegal perversions of it our bureaucrats and their supporters desire. 12/9/2011 -- FEMA camps on 72 hour notice AND military authorized to arrest = VERIFIED For the record, I said months ago that I did NOT believe that there was a REAL plan to round up American/US citizens and put us into "FEMA camps"... being that I am from the "show me state" of missouri.. I felt this claim required more proof that what was offered months/years ago. Now, the tables have turned, and I surely / sorely stand corrected. The US congress has approved a bill which AUTHORIZES THE MILITARY to be able to arrest US citizens on US SOIL !!! Not only can they arrest us without cause, they can hold you indefinitely -- with no lawyer and no one knowing your location !! ( they can do this now through this "law" that was passed...by labeling you beligerent towards the government thus being a terrorist sympathizer --- therefore allowing the military to take you to a secret prison without a trial) Also this very same short period of days, this week, KBR (security corporation which handles FEMA emergency camps) put out a call to staff these FEMA camps.. and to be ready on a 72 hour notice. Take these two events together.. same week... FEMA camps being alerted to staff on a short notice, and the US military authorized to arrest people at the drop of a hat. Rand Paul on "Indefinite Detention" Provision of Defense Authorization Act : 11/29/11 Rand Paul Aims to Kill "Indefinite Detention" Provision of Controversial Bill Head of Japanese American Citizens League warns that bill has echoes of World War II-style internment without charge With the bill expected to be up for a vote within 48 hours, Senator Rand Paul has offered an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that will kill a provision allowing the military to detain individuals, including American citizens, without trial or due process. The "indefinite detention" sections of the NDAA bill would turn the whole of the United States into a "battlefield" and hand the executive branch the power to have the military arrest US citizens and hold them without trial. The provision is merely an update to the "parallel legal system" had been in place under the auspices of the war on terror for over a decade, "In which terrorism suspects — US citizens and noncitizens alike — may be investigated, jailed, interrogated, tried and punished without legal protections guaranteed by the ordinary system," as the Washington Post reported in December 2002. In attempt to kill the indefinite detention provision of the legislation, Senator Rand Paul aims to strike Section 1031 from the bill, which reads as follows. "Congress affirms that the authority of the President to use all necessary and appropriate force...includes the authority for the Armed Forces of the United States to detain covered tention under the law of war without trial". The amendment is ...

The NDAA, now law, gives the US military the power to legally detain individuals without charge or trial. The right to due process has become null and void under the new legislation, even for American citizens. Recently a group of individuals filed a lawsuit against the new law to challenge it, and one of the plaintiffs is Chris Hedges, columnist for TruthDig. Anonymous - National Defense Authorization Act - WKTFU! Dear brothers and sisters. Now is the time to open your eyes! In a stunning move that has civil libertarians stuttering with disbelief, the US Senate has just passed a bill that effectively ends the Bill of Rights in America. The National Defense Authorization Act is being called the most traitorous act ever witnessed in the Senate, and the language of the bill is cleverly designed to make you think it doesn't apply to Americans, but toward the end of the bill, it essentially says it can apply to Americans "if we want it to. Bill Summary & Status, 112th Congress (2011 -- 2012) | S.1867 | Latest Title: National Defense Authorization Act for. This bill, passed late last night in a 93-7 vote, declares the entire USA to be a "battleground" upon which US military forces can operate with impunity, overriding Posse Comitatus and granting the military the unchecked power to arrest, detain, interrogate and even assassinate US citizens with impunity. Even WIRED magazine was outraged at this bill, reporting: Senate Wants the Military to Lock You Up Without Trial ...the detention mandate to use indefinite military detention in terrorism cases isn't limited to foreigners. It's confusing, because two different sections of the bill seem to contradict each other, but in the judgment of the University of Texas' Robert Chesney — a nonpartisan authority on military detention — "US citizens are included in the grant of detention authority." The passage of this law is nothing less than an ...
NDAA Military Detention of US Citizens Breaks Through to Major Media. Not American One, the BBC. Breaking the major news media's blackout on the most radical elimination of American rights in US history, Professor of Law Jonathan Turley speaks to BBC on the National Defense Authorization Act of 2011 (NDAA), which allows for the indefinite military detention of US citizens without charge or trial in violation of the right to a jury trial guaranteed by the Constitution. Professor Turley addresses Obama's NDAA "signing statement" which seeks to downplay this broad new claim of authority, and the entire context of government encroachment on American rights since 9/11. He points out Obama's recent claim of presidential authority to order any American citizen assassinated without charge or trial when deemed suspected of terrorism, and the veil of secrecy which surrounds government proceedings for deciding who is and who is not a "terrorist." MCTS 70-680: Authentication and Authorization This video looks at Authentication and Authorization in Windows 7. Authentication is the process of identifying the user or computer. Authorization is determining what they can and can't have access to after Authentication has occurred. Kerberos version 5 This is the default system that Windows will use when it is available. It is a ticket based system. A ticket based system is when a ticket is generated when the user first logs in. This ticket contains all the groups the user is a member of and thus determines what they have access to. This ticket can be used with other computers on the network to grant access. If the users access changes after they login they will need to log off and back on again in order for the changes to take effect. Windows will use Kerberos when it can, however there are times when Kerberos can't be used. These include the following 1) Authentication using an IP address 2) Either computer is not in a domain 3) The computers are in different forest with no forest trust connecting them 4) A firewall is blocking the Kerberos ports NTLMv2 NT Lan Manager is a challenge response authentication system. A challenge response authentication system works by asking the other side a mathematical question. In order to answer this question correctly the password must be used to generate the response. This means the password is never transferred over the network in order for authentication to occur. Certificates and Smartcards Windows 7 supports the use of ...
