*** Into The Wilderness - Intro Primitive Wilderness Skills Applied John & Geri McPherson are true pioneers in rediscovering ancient skills. They do not settle for anything less than the truly primitive. They start with their bare hands and work their way up from there. In fact, they coined the term "primitive, primitive" to stand for primitive tools made with primitive tools. They are presently setting up the training curriculum for the US Special Forces SERE (Survive, Evade, Resist, Escape) program. Primitive Wilderness Living & Survival Skills was originally published as ten separate booklets, the "*** into the Wilderness" series. Each booklet became a chapter within the book, covering these topics: 1. Brain Tan Buckskin: McPherson's dry-scrape process. 2. Primitive Fire & Cordage: bowdrill, handdrill, cordage. 3. Makin' Meat - 1: the bow & arrow. 4. Makin' Meat - 2: traps, gathering, atlatl, insects, meat preservation. 5. Primitive Wilderness Cooking Methods: in the coals, broiling, baking, boiling. 6. Deer from Field to Freezer: field dressing, skinning, sinew removal, meat cutting, etc. 7. Containers - 1: baskets, coiled baskets, bark container, stone, animal parts, wood. 8. Containers - 2, Primitive Pottery: clay, temper, construction, firing. 9. Primitive Tools, Making & Using Them: digging stick, awl, celt, hafting, adze, vice, etc. 10. Primitive Semi-Permanent Shelters: wickiup, lean-to, thatched wickiup, etc. You can buy the DVDs by visiting the following link:
Basalt Roving Dome We use the Basalt for EcoShells. This is the scaled down uninsulated version. The dome on the video is demo only. It is 10 foot diameter. We often build through 40 foot diameter. For most of the housing in the developing countries we build from 20 feet diameter to 40 foot (6m to 13m). We use this size also for medical clinics, schools, etc. You can see more on our main website .

TechFest 2011: Applied Sciences Group: Smart Interactive Displays Our research shows: Steerable AutoStereo 3-D Display: We use a special, flat optical lens (Wedge) behind an LCD monitor to direct a narrow beam of light into each of a viewer's eyes. By using a Kinect head tracker, the user's relation to the display is tracked, and thereby, the prototype is able to steer that narrow beam to the user. The combination creates a 3-D image that is steered to the viewer without the need for glasses or holding your head in place. Steerable Multiview Display: The same optical system used in the 3-D system, Wedge behind an LCD, is used to steer two separate images to two separate people rather than two separate eyes, as in the 3-D case. Using a Kinect head tracker, we find and track multiple viewers and send each viewer his or her own unique image. Therefore, two people can be looking at the same display but see two completely different images. If the two users switch positions, the same image continuously is steered toward them. Retro-Reflective Air-Gesture Display: Sometimes, it's better to control with gestures than buttons. Using a retro-reflective screen and a camera close to the projector makes all objects cast a shadow, regardless of their color. This makes it easy to apply computer-vision algorithms to sense above-screen gestures that can be used for control, navigation, and many other applications. A display that can see: Using the flat Wedge optic in camera mode behind a special, transparent organic-light-emitting-diode display, we can ...

Applied Scalar Wave Technology - Tom Bearden interview 1of8 Part 1 of 8 Tom Bearden: An Interview on H3O / HRx & The Brave New World of Applied Scalar Wave Technology Next Video: The use of scalar wave technology to produce H3O and HRx solutions brings with it a set of observable phenomenon that cannot be validated using orthodox models of chemistry and physics. To better explain some of their properties, we sought out the input of world-renowned physicist, Dr. Tom Bearden, in the US - well-known for his theoretical contributions in the field of scalar wave. What resulted was an expansive interview (taped 10/17/01) -- over an hour of which is observable below in four separate files. Most of this material will seem quite arcane to those without formal training in physics, but for even the untrained who grasp just 10% of the content, the obvious will become clear: now that applied applications of scalar wave technology, as profound as H3O and HRx now exist, its theoretical underpinnings will not be able to be ignored by orthodox science forever. Parts I to III (of VIII)- Prior to taping, an Alpha Omega representative discussed how H3O can be used in place of sulphuric acid in batteries, how it holds charge and has even been shown to be self-recharging. Also mentioned before taping, was H3O's tendency to pick up charge in its environment (ie during a thunderstorm). Without even going further to explore its amazing medicinal properties, Dr. Bearden explains these phenomenon by examining laws of physics which are still ...
Applied Eskrima, Reflex Development This video was taken a few months ago during one of our training sessions. We are just having fun with this clip, but at the same time learning the mechanics if fast speed sparring. A few hits on the hand and head, but it is part of training. Manny took off his eye protector because he was not comfortable wearing it. When you practice full speed sparring you must at the very least wear eye protection because anything can happen and most of the time, the tip of the stick or fingers will poke your eyes. Practice hard, but practice smart and safely. Master Virgil

Applied Scalar Wave Technology - Tom Bearden interview 4of8 Part 4 of 8 Tom Bearden: An Interview on H3O / HRx & The Brave New World of Applied Scalar Wave Technology Next Video: Overview: Dr. Bearden continues ... examining how energy drawn from a vacuum (time domain) does not really violate the hallowed Law of Conservation of Mass & Energy. Also discussed is why H3O and HRx, when mixed in their concentrate form - an extreme acid with an extreme alkaline, neutralize without an exothermic reaction. It's not supposed to happen - but it does. Dr. Bearden explains why using "higher symmetry" physics. He also goes into greater detail as to why scalar wave technology has not been more thoroughly explored by orthodox science. He then describes the limits of our current understanding of chemistry and physics without leaving the "U1" model. ..........
