This is surgically managed with resection of the excess conj. and replacement with amniotic membrane which is glued in place with fibrin glue. The procedure is done with topical anesthesia. The amniotic membrane is usually overgrown by new conjunctiva that is tight and adherent to the globe without redundancy.
Amniotic Gameplay i purchased this ages ago but only just tried it and i really like it its an indie game so its really cheap heres the reveiw of it its given a 7.5 rating out of 10 not bad Amniotic, a game by indie-game developer antab, is one of the better-quality space-shooter games on xbox live, especially as it is an independent production. The gameplay of Amniotic is more remeniscent of classics like Space Invaders in that it is not a side-scroller, but rather the action all takes place within a ring or circle, which is presented as a bodily cell of sorts. Amoebas and company emerge to destroy you, but you can destroy them all by steering into a glowing orb which explodes, eliminating all of the enemies nearby. You'll do this repeatedly and the trigger mechanism does a nice job of keeping the pace fairly frenetic, moving quickly. So the game isn't a problem until the "boss" arrives. These guys are badass. The first one is a sort of eel or snake amoeba and it's hard to kill, believe me. While the graphics suit the gameplay, they're nothing to write home about. Not that they're bad - far from it. I do think the best thing this game has going is the tempo. It's fast paces, but not in such a way as to make you feel out of control. It's this sort of balance that really hits home and makes the game enjoyable to play and interesting as a game experience

A large therapeutic contact lens (No 16) is placed over the membrane for comfort of the patient.

A conjunctival peritemy with relaxing incisions is made. Next amniotic membrane is placed on a bed of Tisseal glue in several layers (Morshirfar pancaking) and subsequently sutured with 10-0 vicryl to ensure adherance. Next, the conjunctival flap is advanced and sutured onto the cornea with 10-0 Nylon and the knots are burried. Lastly, two large amniotic membranes are glued over to help with comfort and healing and a bandage contact lens is placed. At the end of the video you see the ipsilateral eye in which a perforation from corneal melting required a sclerocorneal patch.
