Christmas For Liars_two Sorry for the delay. This one was written by me. Jesse was awoken by a clock, chiming the hour of seven. He lay awake for a minute, pleased with the feeling of his fiery scarlet blood scampering through his perfect six-pack which was hidden behind his skin, as smooth as a canvass. It was bronze with tints of gold running along with the almost --but not yet perfectly-- veiled fractures on his chest. He lay between the sheets for a bit longer. Were they made of silk? Jesse couldn't tell. 'Chinese silk' was what had been written on the box with a calligraphic print when he first brought them to his flat but then again, he could never be sure due the quite viable possibility of a cheap rip-off. Finally finding the strength to abnegate his warm king-size bed -- which was held by an ebony frame-- he stood and threw on a chalky tuxedo shirt that had lay the night on the wooden floors, leaving the three top buttons open, as he always did. Just as he was about to head towards the bathroom to groom his blonde, almost golden hair, he heard a noise from his cell cut through the serene tranquility. "Hello?" he answered, his voice still groggy from the good, dreamless sleep he'd had. "A possible suicide on seventh Avenue. You must go and interview the only eyewitness, Olive Anderson" and after being done with giving Jesse exact instructions to the witness's house, the Boss disconnected the call without a goodbye. It follows that the so called religious are miserable in this life and this is why they invent an afterlife that mirrors the Bible's mythological story. I (Brandon Acevedo aka GilbrandoFitness) am happy in this life-no other is needed. I posses quality of life now and do not need quantity later. I take care of my mental and physical health now and earn my rewards by my own volition.
