Siam-Boy 8th January 2006: 7.10pm: Carol said she saw a nervous whitish kitten running to hide a car while walking to the carpark where I was waiting to drive to the vet clinic. She thought it was a "new" abandonee. 7.30pm: We arrived at the clinic and picked up the two boys sterilized yesterday. The calico girl was eating well and so we left her to recuperate till Monday. One of the boys were too fierce to be transferred into a carrier, so we took him back in the trap. 8.15pm. We released the tom-prince at the block next to one car park. Then I drove to the adjacent car park to release the tom-king junior at the block next to it. I drove out of the carpark and was about to park to let Carol off when she screamed. A car directly opposite mine was reversing out the car park lot and ran over a kitten with a thump. The driver would have seen the convulsing kitten as the headlights were shining on it but he just drove off. I parked the car and rushed to the kitten. It was breathing in gasps and barely conscious. I put him into a carrier and we rushed back to the clinic. The receptionist called out RTA (Road Traffic Accident) and a vet attended to me right away. The kitten regained its strength and resisted being carried out of the carrier. With gentleness, the vet and the assistant got the kitten out and put it into an opaque plastic box for oxygen to be delivered. The breathing was then very rapid and he was in a daze. I came to feel nostalgic for this song, and I looked for some CD shops ten years ago. However, it was impossible that I bought this in this from shop of any place. I ordered it from a big CD shop with the list of the CD. You may buy this album now in an Internet shop. Japanese singer, Jyun Togawa continue singing recently. The times think me whether it came to be received this music and are deeply impressive.

URBEX: The abandoned 1920's pool Just outside the city lies this abandoned swimming pool and bath house. Build in the neo-renaissance style by August van Haesendonck (1863 - 1935) The pool was build during the war of 1914-1918 to prevent that the workers would have to work for the Germans. At the backside we still can see something what was very typicall for that time: one entrance for the man and another one for the woman. In the early 20th century it became time that cleanness became a standard. But the normal people mostly were soo poor that they couldn't afford many soap or a nice eau-de-cologne. The connection the the main watersystem only happened around 1927, before that most people washed their hands and face at the pump, and the rest of the body was done quickly. Upon that the church told people that showing yourselve *** would be serving the immoralty, so they thought twice to visit the bathhouse. To avoid diceases as cholera the city started a cleanness-campagne. Voor a few cents it was possible to get a shower. Not that luxury as the wealthy people: they had to use the backentrance and has to be satisfied with the unheated facilities. At the entrance still stands the original counter, provider with several windows where the payment could be done. At the headside of the pool still stands the bronze statue of the rescuer with the drowned swimmer, made by Willem Geerts in 1919. Also well kept are the beautiful tiles, made by the Gillot company. Werther "Seigneur Dieu" Carezza Gentileschi Carezza Gentileschi sings Charlotte in Werther in a live performance dated 1970. Werther, a young poet, has escorted Charlotte to a ball and instantly fallen madly in love with her. Charlotte feels similarly for Werther, but has already promised her late mother to marry her approved suitor Albert, and by implication to care for her widowed father and many brothers and sisters. She marries Albert, but after her marriage Werther persists in trying to see her. She is obliged to send him away and tells him not to attempt to visit her again until Christmas. In Act Three it is Christmas Eve and Charlotte wonders if Werther will return. She re-reads some of his letters which fill her with foreboding. Her young sister Sophie arrives and tries to cheer her up but Charlotte breaks down in tears. After Sophie leaves, Charlotte prays to God for strength.
